Sea Fever

¿Alguna vez han escuchado o leído la siguiente frase?:

«And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by»

Yo la he escuchado en varias películas y leído en algunas partes, por lo general en citas. Después de buscar un poco, me encontré con que es una oración del poema «Sea Fever» que pongo a continuación:

I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.

I must down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide

Cuando la escuché la primera vez, pensé que era una cita de Tolkien, no sé por qué pero me imaginaba a un numenoreano haciendo una solicitud a los Valar. De que tiene algo de épico lo tiene.
